The Process |
I made this painting solely out of my mind, meaning, I didn't use any reference photos, or visual inspiration, other than the natural elements around me. I have painted many portraits, and know of all the minuscule details by heart, therefore I was able to create realistic looking faces from memory. This was a challenge to my creative side as well, but the process pushed me to new heights, and I hope it can do the same for you by observing it.
