The Process |

I first made my vision in my mind come to life using the digital app procreate on the iPad. I collaged references of the face in profile, koi fish, and Mount Fuji. Carefully placing them where I felt made for a captivating composition, I then let my mind do the rest of the magic straight on the canvas as I was painting. This was very emotional for me to make, as I really envisioned myself as this representational being in a dream land of growth, love, and divine abundance. It was interesting because as I was painting this, new ideas arose within me. Such as blending the figure, hand, and koi in with the water. I felt it was an internal creative force telling me what to do. I learned to really take my time in the process, and allow myself to unleash my intuition. Created in 2023.
